  • WHAT CLOCK HOURS WILL I EARN ?
    Nail Technician training consists of 250 clock hours (100 theory, 150clinical) to be completed in 8.3 to 12.5 weeks. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to sit for the Maryland Board of Cosmetology Nail Technician exam.
  • WHAT IS THE JOB OUTLOOK?
    Employment of manicurists and pedicurists in the state of Maryland is projected to grow 18 percent from 2014 to 2024, faster than the average for all occupations. New types of nail services, such as mini-sessions and mobile manicures and pedicures, may drive employment growth. High turnover and a growing number of nail salons will result in very good job opportunities.
  • WHAT CREDENTIALS CAN I EARN?
    Maryland Licensed Nail Technician ****Once licensed in MD is achived you may become eligible to apply for reciprocity in another state to practice as a nail technician as well. Please check with each state board to see if hours transfer.***
  • WHEN ARE CLASSES HELD?
    Hours Mon-Fri 8:30am-3pm Day 6pm-10:30pm Evening Saturday (when scheduled) 8:30a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • DO YOU OFFER VIRTUAL LEARNING ?
    Yes, during COVID-19 we will be hosting online classes. PLEASE REFER TO @SNOBNAILS IG PAGE TO SEE WHAT STATES YOU CAN VALIDY TRANSFER/RECIPROCITY/ENDORSE YOUR NAIL LICENSE. ***IMPORTANT*** Please understand that if you choose to enroll in Snob Nails Technician School an attend virtual classes you will become licensed in the United States - Maryland. You do not have to be a MD resident to attend. If you are an out of town resident YOU MUST TRAVEL TO MARYLAND TO TAKE YOUR STATE BOARDS. ONCE YOUR STATE BOARDS ARE SUCESSFULLY PASSED THEN YOU MAY TRANSFER LISCENSURE TO YOUR STATE RESIDENCY OCCORDING TO YOUR STATE GUIDELINES. Be sure to check your state guidelines for reciprocity by visiting your state board of cosmetology website. TO ENROLL FOR VIRTUAL LEARNING please email snobishnails@gmail.com heading virtual classes. Be sure to include Day 8:30am-3pm or Evening 6-9:30pm. You will be sent instruction on how to register and secure your class spot.
